Confirmed through DJ Paul’s Instagram, his new album will be titled The Goat. It will release on February 3rd, and will have a new single every three weeks. Along with this, he confirmed there will also be a tour.
A legend in the Memphis scene & hip hop in general, this his first full album release since 2017. In those years since, he had collaborated on projects with Yelawolf & solo EP in 2019. He had also landed a production credit on Drake’s 2018 song featuring Jay-Z titled “Talk Up.”
Since the announcement of the album, Three 6 Mafia member Gangsta Boo had passed away. A crucial member to the dynamic of the group, her lost was felt seeing condolences from everyone in hip hop. Her death was confirmed through DJ Paul’s Instagram post.
